These services are not — and are not intended to be — a form of clinical counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, psychological evaluation, or any other licensed mental health service. They are educational, reflective, and spiritually grounded offerings.
Kelly E. Smith is a coach, author, speaker, identity strategist, and faith-based educator. She is not a licensed therapist, licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), psychiatrist, or any other licensed or certified mental health provider.
The coaching and educational relationship is not a therapeutic relationship. It does not create a client-therapist or patient-provider relationship of any kind, and it is not governed by the legal or ethical standards that apply to licensed mental health professionals.
Nothing offered through Shunammite Services is a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or psychiatric treatment. If you are experiencing mental health challenges, emotional distress, trauma responses, suicidal thoughts, or other psychological concerns, we strongly encourage you to seek the care of a qualified, licensed mental health professional.
